  15. I have been able to print color/black and white without any specific knowledge
  16. about the type pf printer used. MacApp opens color windows whenever possible
  17. (if Color QD is available on the machine, and if qNeedsColorQD is TRUE).
  18. Printing from these windows (or its subviews) using -for example- LaserWriter
  19. 6.0 in Color/Grayscale mode will do the color conversion for you.
  20. There are some gotchas here, the most important of which are the fact that it
  21. is incompatible with LaserWriter 5.2 and also does not work on 128k or 512k
  22. Macs.
